Milan have denied that coach Massimiliano Allegri has met with representatives of Roma.
Allegri – who is contracted at the San Siro until 2014 – has recently been linked with a move to the Italian capital.
Roma, who lie a disappointing seventh in the Serie A table, have had four managers in the last two years, in a period of uncertainty after Claudio Ranieri s reign at the club ended.
They are reportedly keen on securing the services of the 45-year-old, who led Milan to the Serie A title in 2011.
However, Milan have rubbished the rumours with a short statement posted on the club s official website.
It read: Massimiliano Allegri has denied meeting any representative from AS Roma as was reported in the media this morning.
Milan played Roma on Sunday, with the match ending in a goalless draw.
